Are you tired of looking at your smile and seeing uneven or misaligned teeth?

We get that. Most people want their smile to be beautiful, straight and dazzling. After all, it is the window to your soul, as they say. If you’ve been dying to get a better smile but are hesitant because the idea of having braces makes you cringe, there’s no need to worry any more. We understand that not everyone likes the look or feel of braces, and that’s okay. To these patients, there’s still hope because at True Smile Orthodontics, we offer Invisalign®.

Invisalign is a new-and-improved orthodontic treatment that uses clear, custom-made aligners to move your teeth. That’s right, no poky wires or uncomfortable brackets here! Instead, Dr. Chris Trockel and Dr. Martin Trockel are embracing the science fiction side of orthodontics. During your Invisalign treatment, our orthodontists will use an advanced system to capture a 3D, digital image of your mouth. From this image, they can create computer-generated, completely custom-made clear alignment trays that are made to fit your unique and personal smile. All you have to do is wear your aligners for however long our orthodontists say you need to.

Generally, you will need to wear your aligners for about 20 to 22 hours each day. But guess what. You can still remove your aligners to eat, brush and floss, so it’s not like your aligners are stuck in your mouth all day long. About every two weeks or so, you will return to our practice and get a new set of customized aligners. With each new set, your teeth will move just a little bit farther towards their correct positions. Depending on how crooked your teeth are to begin with, you could have just a few or several sets of aligners that you will need to wear.

To make matters even better, Invisalign can be used to do more than just straighten teeth. For those who have misaligned bites, like an overbite, open bite, underbite or crossbite, Invisalign can fix that, too. So, in the end, you will not only have straighter teeth, but you will also have a properly-aligned bite. All in all, Invisalign is your treatment if you’re looking to correct your alignment or crooked teeth in one of the most discreet ways possible.
